R. Kent Ledbetter Director of Investment Banking Head of Real Estate & Lodging Investment Banking Kent Ledbetter is Director of Investment Banking and head of real estate and lodging investment banking at JMP Securities. He is also a member of the executive committee of JMP Group, JMP Securities' parent company. From 2007 until 2011, Kent served as head of corporate finance. Kent joined JMP in 2004. He was previously a Managing Director at Lehman Brothers, based in London and San Francisco. Prior to working at Lehman Brothers, Kent was a Senior Vice President in the real estate investment banking group at PaineWebber in San Francisco. During his 19-year career, Kent has been involved in more than $18 billion of public debt and equity capital raising transactions and more than $10 billion of domestic and international mergers and acquisitions. Kent holds a BBA in Finance from the University of Oklahoma. |
