Doug Ireland is a research analyst covering the communications equipment industry and the IT hardware sector, which includes companies that design, produce, manufacture and sell the computing, storage and network solutions and peripherals that power corporate and government IT operations.

Prior to joining JMP, Doug was a sales engineer at AT&T designing global and local network solutions for Fortune 50 clients.

Doug previously spent three years each working in China and Japan and earned a Masters of Telematic Engineering at the Universidad Politecnica in Barcelona, Spain. He holds MBAs with honors from Columbia University and University of California at Berkeley via the Berkeley-Columbia joint program.
